Westellians...

We had more buying today, so we are up 20% in two days. I have to admit that I know a lot more about the technology than the financial situation of the company. I know I saw a lot of buying late in the day and that the price ran confidently over 5.25.

I already have a profit in this stock, thanks to a little bottom fishing. I originally bought on the recent upgrade by Preferred Cap. I put in a limit order and bought it end of day on a sell-off. I believe it would not take much at all to propel the stock higher. I watch level II quotes all day and a lot of the support is from institutional investors.

I do know that January was the target date for Bell Atlantic to announce widespread DSL availability in the NY area featuring Westell CPEs. I also spoke to a Westell spokesman who said everything was on track for the deployment including installing DSL line cards in BEL central offices.

So, caveat. This isn't concrete information, but it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Got my fingers crossed.
