This morning the analyst at Lehman Bro. cut CPU's earning by predicting average store sale would be down 3%. The actual number is 4.7%. Also if you calculate the converted store sale, you will find the store sale at the converted store is lower than the original stores.

The report is right. The accounting is:

old: 1 unit * $1 = 1
now: 1.5 unit * $0.8 = 1.2

The revenue is up 20%.
