frank, sunw retained all it's gain while others gave back in late trading. sunw is estimated to make more earning then msft in coming years, see zacks estimates yourself from the newsletter that i m subscribing they say sunw and LU and aol may announce split.
i could careless about scott or bill. i will stay focus on making mony. ML recommend dell, uis, gtw, ibm, sunw etc... they all flew out of the gate but checking the closing % gain sunw had 5+%.

analysts and mutual fund managers do not care about what you see in fortune magazine they only care about earnings and preception of future earnings.

it takes a lot of guts to be a bastard that Scott McN. Frankly, as a msft investor i m happy to see msft getting some challenge else my msft would get lazy. As u see, amd is already making good progess in taking a byte out of intel. Only if our companies see threats they will start working.
(just imho).anyway, lets just stay focus on making most mony for ourselves which ever way it comes. i have msft, sunw, aol, lu ...so what ever goes up is fine w. me. Sunw is still seen as a value investment and was recommened recently by Joe Bhatabhaglia and Abby.
sunw ceo will on wsw this week and i think this aol deal and internet commerce will mean lots of server sales.

Hello Frank. Your post reminds me of what else AOL's CEO said. He was asked about that "You Got Mail" and he said that they will be pursuing it further. He said something like: I guess we should be proud that someone wants to steal our slogan but then I don't think we should stand for that. Again, not exact words.
I can't imagine a stock going down almost 6 points because of a ruling like this. gg. But weirder things are happening.

Oh, btw, I would gladly give up my college education for B.G.'s money. About McN, it was probably sour grapes. But who knows, maybe he will catch up one day.
