Guard dog is by cybermedia which is Neta but that doesn't explain the 5 point loss.

AT,
GuardDog was from CyberMedia and the only piece of it that was Trend's was the Virus scan engine. All the rest was either CyberMedia's or OEMed. When NAI bought C.M. they also had to pay Trend major $$'s to get out of the contract.
As for it being a dead product, nothing at NAI is dead till it stops selling. NAI is not putting any money into it, which to me means they can afford to cut the price, NO R&D.
Aladdin purchased E-Safe, a small Isreali anti-virus company.
