If you think the market will be going down in February enough so you'll do some selling then, I would suggest the elementary and objective thing to do would be to sell now. You are gambling to gain a little more at the cost of possibly losing more than you would accept in the future. If you are continuing to hold trading positions, then you actually believe we are going up.
