are big time muddled

Cyrix is in a tough spot in having to choose between KNI and 3DNow!. In the low cost market, Cyrix should go with 3DNow! to compete with the K6 line. Jalepeno could make better use of KNI. I think that Cyrix may be betting that Intel is forced to add KNI to the Celeron line by Q3, in which case, Jedi could benefit from KNI as Intel rapidly increases the installed base of KNI chips with low cost Celerons (I think Intel must do this to have game developers write for KNI). If Cyrix does choose KNI, it will be inline with their strategy of being the low cost Intel compatible alternative as AMD goes to Slot A.
