I'd have to agree that I am lukewarm about most semis at these prices, and that I'd be a lot more bullish if they were on sale for 25% off. <G> I suppose that the SOX at 260 is possible - after all it wasn't long ago that it was under 200. I think that the overall market will change direction sometime this month and things will go your way for awhile. Good luck, Carl

According to First Call, the estimates for this quarter are pretty tightly clustered in a range between a loss of $.10 and a profit of $.02. One estimate calls for a $.10 profit, while several call for higher losses with the worst being a loss of $.20. For the year there are two clusters of estimates, one around a profit of $.40, the other around a loss of $.30. 8 analysts rate MU a strong buy, 9 have MU as a hold, with 1 underperform and 1 buy. It seems that the analysts either run hot or cold, and not in between. Carl
