The letter I got on the merger of funds is Expenses will drop from 1.7% to 1.5% (if my memory serves me right). I actually had two people I help switch their mnsox to to mnmcx as soon as the latter opened to new investors last yr. Nice little tax loss for one account to offset some gains and she got a better fund.

Anyone remember when BB dropped mnsox from his recommended list and what he replaced it with? I forget why I kept it around in my friend's accounts.... maybe since they both wanted Schwab only free funds? I was mixing a small amount mnsox with Schwab1000 to get a bit of small cap.
