You hit it right on the head - 'switching costs' - that is why MSFT will (should) always be 'the' Leader - NOBODY wants change, er, nobody wants to PAY for it in down time. I know my company won't, and i am sure we are not alone. I know of another company that TRIED to convert to Lotus Notes, and spent Millions, and gave up. This was a BIG BIG company....... and THEY can't be alone.
