**********TO NEW INVESTORS************

Not only MKII owns the franchise system rights from HERITAGE CONCEPTS INTERNATIONAL. They are currently in discussions to form an alliance for the purpose of implementing a "roll-up" of similar Fortune 500 office restaurants. (as the one MKII own at the AT&T location).
Both companies believe that an effective "roll-up" will achieve annual volumes in excess of $100 MILLION.

Ponderosa Steakhouses are a good purchase..
Some notes about Ponderosa Steakhouse Franchising:

Ponderosa Steakhouse Franchises are done by:

Metromedia Restaurant Group
12404 Park Central Dr.
Dallas, TX 75251
800-543-9670

From single unit operators to large multi unit operations, Ponderosa has a
successful track record of supporting its franchisees. In fact, for the past two
years, Ponderosa has been named the #2 franchisor in the U.S. in Success
magazine's Franchise Gold 100 ranking, which evaluates more than 700
leading franchise companies.

Confirmation of this #2 rating:
unitedcheckcashing.com

TERM OF LEASE
Typically 20 years with negotiated renewal options for the lease.

(I presume that MKII is to take over a current lease)

To start up a Franchise from scratch would cost:

ponderosasteakhouses.com Domestic Financial Data

Total Estimated Initial Investment
LOW HIGH

$743,700 $1,728,500

i.e. for 5 restaurants, initial investment would be from $3,718,500 to $8,642,500.

MKII purchase price of $4,350,00 sounds like it probably is a very good deal !!
I have been to that area and they are nicely situated.

Good for MKII, hope deal goes through....soon.
