Heyy TMan,
" The mutual funds will buy banners when their fund managers are on the chat site for the night answering questions. Why would a fund manager spend a night online and not advertise during his program."

This is very interesting to say the least, last year I worked for an area on AOL and did interactive chats, we used what AOL calls an
ECR ( enhanced chat room ) the distinction being that there was a split screen, myself and person being interviewed ( topics where all financial ) on the "stage" and everyone else in the "audience" down below. Depending where you were located that is where you typed. This allowed the audience to talk amongst themselves while keeping the topic at hand focused up top. We limited audience to 100 anything beyond that was wacky. They do have "arena" type chats that are much larger 250 I think, questions are submitted in advance.
Do you know what kind of "chats" FNTN is contemplating?
Ohh also you mention the specific Mutual Fund advertising when their person is featured, not only that but other Financial Companies will
also as the "audience" is chock full of potential clients. One pays more for exclusive advertising rights, tee hee ;). Thanks,,, B
P.S. real.com lists daily LIVE venues
for radio, tv etc. Wonder if FNTN will begin to be included?

Tomato: I once had an employee tell me how to run my business.
I used a fork - the 4-pronged variety.
But a letter opener is certainly acceptable.

Tman, r.e. "Finally, I refuse to try to micromanage these people. I don't think any of us knows enough about what is going on to tell these people anything."

Micromanage, no. But in this terrific free-for-all we have going here,

BRAINSTORMING, B-S'ing, and SUGGESTING

should be encouraged.
If you look back over the past 3 weeks posts you will find many of the things MS answered "no comment" to:
1. Name change.
2. IPO, APO, reverse split, whatever.
3. Expansion of services.
4. New markets.

Just to pat ourselves on the back, and among all the chaff, there are some very smart people here who may be able to suss out the direction FNTN is, should, or could be going, and although a lot of the scare and innuendo may put MS off, I believe we've hit closer to the mark than they are allowed to say.

Keep it up, guys, they may listen more than they let on,
M.
