lkj, The January 6th edition of IBD featured a picture of the Diamond Multimedia Rio! on the cover page along with the "black tortilla" known as Smart Media. The article discussed mp3 and how the "genie is already out of the bottle." Different compression formats will crop up with security devices to prevent pirating, but ultimately the use of the internet to download free music or purchase albums or individual songs will only continue to snowball as bandwith increases. I have it from the horse's mouth that SNDK has been involved in discussions with .mp3 player OEM's about inclusion of MMC into new designs. Ausdauer
