What is your weak spot ? <grin><<<<<

Why, my good nature, of course.<g>

Or, maybe, my pride?

As for the rest of your post. The 'net, qua 'net, won't crash. The 'net is the next stage of civilization.

When you buy shares of Yahoo and AOL stock, you are not buying the 'net. I think we have at last found the exact point at which our perceptions diverge.

happy girl,

If I am finally starting to understand your view I think you are saying that right now the Nets are perceived as having infinite potential therefore the psychology will support continually rising prices until something happens to dent that psychology. That's all well and good but doesn't it presume that you will be able to see the external event coming and to be able to act accordingly? Are you saying that you feel like you will walk away when the time comes with more cash than your current portfolio value? Are you buying more Yahoo stock at current levels?

Dave

Happy Girl:

<<<But one fine day the people will not wake up
and say - enough, we don't want to make more money. And since we all agree
there is no product, there can never be any value analysis. Internet is a lifestyle.
What value will you give to a lifestyle ? Limitations of economics. >>>

By god, I think you've got it. A real-time example of the "greater fool" theory.

<<<If you think I'm a senior citizen, you're wrong. If you think I'm blond and dazzling,
you're ___ (why don't we leave it at that ?)>>>

Not yet, please. How about: Happy black feathers adorn nissei or Korean bird of youth.
