I wonder if it has ever crossed Robinson's mind that the news release that we shareholders would reallllllly like to see, is an approval letter from the FDA for Panretin and ONTAK , plus some positive news from Targretin.

An open comment to Mr. Robinson......"deliver on your promises."

I suspect that LGND needed to get some cash coming in for the 4Q to look better, and an insitutional deal was the quickest and easiest way. The rumor that some LGNDW would be exercised early at a discount is a VERY old story.
