Win 98 won't allow an AGP card to be primary. It has to be secondary. That's just how it is presently.

I believe it is a bios issue. The bios searches PCI first. Some of the new bios revisions have an option to search AGP first. I believe if you have this option and set it to AGP the AGP card will become the primary.

matt,

Try to get that voltage down. By running the CPU core 20% higher than recommended, you risk damaging your Celeron.

1. Try running your Celeron at 300 Mhz for a while (aka burn-in) before running at 450 Mhz. Maybe you can get it to OC lower than 2.4V after the burn-in.

2. Get a high quality heatsink. Celerons run hot when OCed and it is extremely important to keep it as cool as possible. This link has some very good heatsinks although ordering can be slow. computernerd.com

3. Also be aware that if you use tape it can rub off, give you some unexpected and undesired voltages - BxBoards

I was able to up the voltage to 2.4 (yea a bit high, but you got to do what you got to do), but using tape on pins a121, b119, and a120.

Hope this helps,
Nick
