Dan,

I agree, but that's an awfully tempting when you're looking a potential 300% profit for doing nothing. Let me ask you this, since I'm not up on stock dividends. Since the record date is tomorrow 1/6, if I own shares say today and hold them throughout tomorrow and sell them on Thursday the 7th, will I still get the stock dividend? I think so, but just like another opinion. Thanks

New news release on stock dividend. What do you make of the restricted shares?

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan 5, 1999--Internet service provider Quest Net Corp.'s (OTC BB:QNET - news) Board of Director's
voted to issue a dividend to all shareholders of record as of January 6, 1999. Shareholders will receive three additional restricted shares for every share held on the
record date.

Letters will be mailed by Friday January 8, 1998 to all shareholders of record as of the market close on Wednesday with instructions on how to immediately receive
their dividends.

No. There is no such thing as a free lunch. The new shares are restricted and can't be sold, except by long term holders (i.e. insiders). The stock price will fall to reflect the new shares even if it is not automatically adjusted. If anyone gets a free lunch, it will be the insiders.
