European Telecoms post big gains: DT, FTE, BTY, NOK.A, ERICY One result of the introduction of a single currency for 11 countries in Europe was record gains today for Deutsche (German) Telekom, France Telecom, British Telecom, etc. I see great potential in these stocks, especially helping East Block countries with infrastructure and am happy I bought earlier this year. I have spent a lot of time in Germany and couldn't believe that DT was selling for under $20 so I bought in spite of negative reviews from several analysts. I hope that DT does as well as AOL, or as AT&T. PoorRich ps: I think the AT&T adds are great (male/female teenager exchanging a picture until the young woman is shown as an angel) and wish AOL would exploit "I've Got Mail" more.
