Yeah - I saw more iMACs at CompUSA.

Also, there is flurry of third party iMAC peripherals that all copy the iMAC color scheme, etc.

Intel, as you recall, demo'd at COMDEX a host of artistically styled PC chassis - check their web site for photos.

My hunch is that the PC vendors are in such a rush to cut prices to the bone, that costs are being cut to the bone as well - leaving no room for "style points".

The x86 PCs are going to remain "plain vanilla" for quite a while, I'm afraid.
