After years and years of serious suffering--remember the Ken O'Brien wimp out at the goal line, and the other goal-line fiasco when the defense went to sleep expecting a spike but gave up an easy touchdown pass--I wouldn't even consider distracting from the pure competitive joy of watching the Jets fight through these playoffs by betting--anyway--good luck to the Green and the Purple.

Steve- The big question is:Will Ancor cover the spread.
What would you say the over and under is here?

>>(If Brunell pulls his head out of his *** they will deliver a good fight. SF is a 8-8 team in the NFC central<<

Steve -what you may be missing here is that the Jets are practicing in full pads in the freezing(19/wind chill 1) cold(what you like to probably call Minnesota's Indian summer). If it's a factor on game day look for another big edge for the Jets given Brunells bad ankle on rock hard astro-turf and Jacksonville's warm weather practices.

S.F and Steve Young though they have horrible defense and should lose can always keep it close with there offense plus they have vets who've been there many times.

Best of luck for you and the Vikes this week.

Prediction-Vikes have early trouble this week(early Cunningham Jitters) and roll Atlanta big next week.
Jets need to really play at the top of there game this week and win big and pick up momentum to have a decent chance against the Broncs.
Look for the Jets to win big this week.

Ed

iceburg,

<ATL is the lock of the week. I am going BIG on ATL.>

You was robbed! The refs delivered a 14 point swing and the niners covered for the first time in a long time. Sorry 'bout that.

Lookin' forward to watching the quarterback the niners should have gotten 'stead of Drunkenfeller, though the Cards are outmatched.

Congratulations in advance and good luck against the birds.

Hopefully the McVay/Walsh braintrust can repair the niners and deliver a worthy opponent into your MetroDome next season so I can quit cryin' in my Chablis.

It hasn't been wise to bet against the purple this season, neh?

Douglas
