Sig.

Like your thinking. Might just also take care of my leanings at this time which is slightly different than theirs'.

I am a little leery in the recent day tight low to high trading range of Dell. Too easy to get left at the launching pad (if and when Dell gaps up) and according to my interpretation of Dell past performances, it probably will. If Dell delivers somewhat beyond the whisper number it might continue during that earnings day.

There are some factors that are different in the way Dell's stock price has reacted this last 2 quarters. I can't get any kind of personal confirmation on what I think is a temporary information gap.

I will like to see a cluster of two of more NASDAQ down days in the next two weeks or so. That information would give me a big push into deciding how to play into what I view as the real earnings run up numbers.

Greg and Volts position fine with me since if Greg is "right" plus a slight upward movement and Voltaire is "right" with a slower approach to the earnings run up then my chance of getting an extra 2% plus from here to earnings call is very good.

I really am not sure that option play can be incorporated into the type of play I use to improve on my long position which is somewhat different than BHPO.

You and a few others on this thread seem to do rather well with it. I will try to self define an easy and simple use of options in my current discipline.

You know that just because we do well with what we do it doesn't mean that it is the best that we can do.

As always best regards,

QT
