alert on SCNI
With AOL Digital Cities, Microsoft's sidewalk.com and even
Yahoo's local web pages setting examples, along with television
models, such as CNN and the Weather Channel, it should not be
difficult for SCNI to mine local advertising revenue. Visitors
to the www.HealthCareReportCards.com site will more often than
not look up reports on hospitals in close proximity. This should create an
opportunity for SCNI to refer site visitors to local advertisers, ranging from
pharmacies, ambulette and hospital equipment rental services, and even
medical malpractice attorneys. Areas with high elderly population
concentrations should be targeted first by SCNI advertising sales staff. Does
anyone know if SCNI is growing such a staff ? Paying for a link on AOL
digital city sites might be a move for SCNI also.

I suggest that posters here bookmark the url
www.HealthCareReportCards.com and use it in their message title
often to reinforce the connection to SCNI. The company is not
doing much PR on it's own. If there is no press release this
week about the doubling of the number of medical specialties
reported on at their website, how can anyone expect the company
to be effective in marketing their advertising resources ?
