Regarding the split, I'm not suggesting trading on it at all. Personally I'd have to take a shower if I ever traded a thesis as thin as "I should buy the split because others will buy because it split".

As for the secondary: read the news. SAIC, a majority holder, will be selling 4,500,000 shares or half their holdings, along with 80,000 management shares. In my opinion, the addition of $600 million worth of overvalued shares to the public float will go along way to curing the supply problem that has this, like all bloatedly overvalued internet shares, trading at such a ridiculous price.

The secondary doesn't dilute the exisiting market cap, it just increases the float. Nevertheless, if you buy the stock here you ought to consider how informed a seller you've got ontheother side of you trade.

Expect to see a whole lot of secondaries in internet names in the next few months. Then expect the supply/demand imbalance in these names to be cured and fundamentals to become at least part of the discussion again.
