STK warned this morning...
______

09:09 ET Storage Technology Corp. (STK) 34 7/16: Designer and manufacturer of information storage and network product solutions is warning that Q4 earnings to be in the range of $0.50 to $0.55 a share, below the First Call mean estimate of $0.73 a share.

This could mean that EMC's market share will continue to increase. I don't expect any earnings shortfall from them, though.

JDN/all -

Yes, sports fans, I DO know how to post EMC-related messages also. :-)

What do you think EMC's EPS growth rate will be over the next 2 years? Right now it is about 30% (just a touch higher than CSCO), and VERY predictable. To be a high flyer price-wise *longterm*, I think it will have to accelerate its earnings, because it is already trading at a P/E in the mid-60's.

I am HOPING for one 'double' ahead of its time, due to rising P/E (investor exuberance)... I'm not sure I can expect another soon after that.

I'm interested in your (and other's) thoughts on EMC's growth prospects.
