it absolutely is. it goes to credibility. is a prior perjury relevant when someone is testifying against you in court? heck yeah... that is one example. everyone was wrong about 1996. everyone was wrong about 1997. everyone was wrong about 1998. the analysts were always high b/c their methodology was always wrong.

now they are right in 1999 b/c... you will it?

demand has looked excellent for the last 2 years. has mu's bottom line?

yes, the ONLY way to seriously reduce costs is to substantially ramp output. with a pending pc glut i think demand dries up over the short to medium term and that hammers all the semi stocks... demand is dynamic.

you will see bit sales growth slow as the incentive to move from 64 mb is a lot less than moving from 32 mb - especially in the lower end boxes that are taking over the market...

demand growth slows... capacity growth increases...
