During the hard times for third-tier, it was possible for some to do quite well with a diversified biotech portfolio. We've seen how V1, Jim Silverman and Peter Suzman did it.

However, it was almost impossible to do well if you were exclusively mucking down among the third-tier. I certainly didn't, although I'm on a mega-roll right now.
