I guess Napier will continue to be a promotion until they institute professional management. Price swings, short sales, investor relations hype etc. is what we will face. I would hope the issuable options will be for performance related incentives (sales goals etc) or to lure talent to help run this company into the black. The story is compelling. But isn't a compelling story the raw material of promoters? If this company needs help, I would surely offer my consulting services. The time line for Napier is much too long to benefit shareholders. (eg. we rolled out blitzsolve and plexi-plus in Aug '98. What are the sales results?) As an investor I've seen this a million times: Tiny company with vast potential trying to start a thousand bonfires with one match in a stiff wind. Lack of management is like using two wet sticks. With the endorsement of Boeing and the TWA contract sales should be cake!
