Blocker is Doug Bell he ran a now debunk IR firm that was in business for a couple months it was called the Maitland Marketing Group. Before this he worked for Venture Capital where he worked as the floor manager. Currently he works out of his home and takes a deal here and there. This fellow has been hiding behind his screen name and touting stocks that he was getting paid to tout. He pretends to be an outsider when in fact he is a paid insider. The law is simple when Doug touts stocks he is suppose to reveal his compensation. (Just as we have done here). It is said that Doug's reputation was greatly tarnished when he would take a deal tout it then short the stock after he sold it. This is maybe one reason he had to close his doors. The Following is his touts on KCAP he was paid 25,000 shares of this stock to tout it: To: Lucky (79 ) Tuesday, Oct 13 1998 1:14PM ET From: blokker Reply # of 423 I hope you know what you are doing shorting this thing. I agree that LONG term it will be a good short but I would hate to see you 20k out of the money in this thing. I am holding out for the bang here. we shall see !! Also, To: Due Diligence (400 ) Wednesday, Oct 14 1998 11:49PM ET From: blokker Reply # of 512 I hear there may be news on KCAP on or near the open tomorrow (15th). This stock is up from .50 range a few weeks ago and I hear it may run up to $3 or $4. I dont really believe that but we shall see. I have seen a TON of stock hit the bid and it doesn't budge it, seems to have incredible support. I would appreciate any info. Once Doug sold his KCAP he began shorting and touting the stock downwards. Here is some examples; To: DrProficient (336 ) Wednesday, Nov 18 1998 10:49AM ET From: blokker Reply # of 423 KCAP - a good buy here? NOT !!! My opinion of course. One solid sell and this whore could be $.01. Is it possible that Mr. Proficient has a position up higher where he was he was talking the same bs at $3-4? The following are other his touts and the companies he worked for at the time of the touts When he was working a stock named Beks Foods he posted this: To: DR. Major short squeeze may cause this thing to run BIG maybe 1-200%...take a look When Doug was pumping RGUS he posted this: To: BruSi (32 ) Wednesday, Sep 2 1998 10:58PM ET From: blokker Reply # of 41 WOW, .75 bid. which way will she go now. Now that it is getting cheap, maybe the pr firm will step up and buy a little(very little) stock. I think I may actually buy some down here. I can't really decide though. What do you guys think? Only once did Doug use his name; To: Lucky (93 ) Thursday, Oct 15 1998 9:55PM ET From: blokker Reply # of 423 I think the fact of the matter he is,Lucky, that you shorted this stock thinking that it would go down. You were wrong.. SO, you lose.To me that means 60-1....LOL. Plus, This is the first time that I have ever talked with you. I find it hard to believe that the first time I ? you, you are worng and it is the first time ever wrong. 60-0, dream on. I know how to change postings just like you do.. So dont bs me..bweeee Doug.....Shorter than you Please consider the source of this fellows posts. He will try to pump up a stock he is paid on, then dumps their stock and tries to drive it down after he has sold it and went short. Doug Bell is one reason the IR business gets a bad rap. The truth is difficult for people like him, and letting people know who is is maybe worst. But at times it is important that we know who is talking to us. Steven Samblis
