Thanks for your response Brett. I just opened an account with you and am happy to know that you adhere closely to the rules. It's comforting to know that my money is in the hands of a company that handles themselves in a strict ethical manner. I don't always get the same warm and fuzzies with other brokers I've researched.

Thank you for your response. Should the firm I am now using tighten up, as you have indicated they may in the near future, I'll be back. But as long as I can trade the way I want, I'll stay where I am. As I posted earlier, I have absolutely no complaint with your firm's service, professionalism and its willingness to protect its clients when losses occur which were not the client's fault. (I might add the firm I am now with also protected me on a phone order for a short sale just before trading was halted where the trader told me I was done but the clearing firm never executed the order - they covered my gain without complaint.) It's reassuring to be doing business with firms such as yours that treat their clients so fairly.
