Here's my AMD estimate for 4Q'98. Would have done it over the holidays but some of my info was at work. REVENUES 5.2M K6's @ $92 = 478.4M CPG revenue Other revenue = 307.6M (+2.6M vs. 3Q) Total Revenue = 786,000,000 EXPENSES Breakeven from 3Q'98: 685M Increased direct costs: 25M Increased R&D: 20M Increased indirect costs: 5M New breakeven: 735,000,000 PROFIT: 51M - taxes 16M = 35,000,000 = 0.23/share BTW, I used twice-monthly quotes from thechipmerchant.com, derated by 25%, along with guesstimates of "bin-split" to get my rather low ASP. I'll adjust the 25% number up or down (for next time) based on the actual ASP and any info on bin split in the CC. Petz
