<< In my 30 some odd years of experience as a "retail investor", gaps get filled about 98% of the time. This, IMO, is one of those rare exceptions, barring a major breakdown in the overall markets that catches everyone flat footed. >>

Exactly my point teevee... I know that gaps are almost always filled (ARP's gap won't be filled, but only because Barrick made a buyout offer - that would be 1 example I can think of where a gap won't be filled). The reason I gave a 50-50 chance for the WSP gap to be filled is because of how strongly and consistantly it has been trading. However, I tend to believe that it would be better for WSP if it does come back to fill that gap - the sooner the better...

If the gap doesn't get filled, it will be a testiment to how strongly WSP is trading. But the gap will always be there, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months down the road......

I think that everyone will have to watch very closely. Either the US and German markets will set new record highs (with inferior earnings in the US)and with Japan heading in the tank or there is going to be a significant correction which may impact everyone. However, Winspear may be producing spectacular results at the point of the correction that no one will be able to argue with.
There will be some ups and downs. Lets hope that it is mostly up.

There are those among us who can look further ahead than the price of the next trade, who would like another crack at expanding our holdings at #3.50 or less. Particularly if those wicked traders are going to go short to drive it down. Scuse me I' drooling on my keyboard at the thought of it......

Teevee and all: Can't see the gap getting filled right now. Not if IR are spewing loose information to all who enquire. Lets hope they have enough holes processed along with the 500kg sample for the market to see the potential of this play.
If we don't have enough holes processed then the gap will be quickly filled after the news release.
