Tench , you are sounding more like the analysts every day
They were surprised last quarter but they still are as pessimistic on AMD as they were a year ago despite an apparent change in AMD's ability to produce on .25 process .
It is as if AMD's successful ramp Q2/Q3 on the .25 process from 1M k6-2 to 3.8M has not convinced them of any change in AMD production capability . To me that indicates a significant advancement , why?
Because all the analysts at the beginning of the year were bemoaning the fact that AMD would have to transition and in their own words
"the .25 process is more difficult".
Well it certainly was indicated in AMD's results .
Q2 1M K6-2 Q3 3.8M K6-2 Q4 5.4M k6-2 ?
