<ot re: Sorros>G'day all - Paul, I don't know enough of the personality to make any substantive judgement. While he may be indeed an amoral S*B, appearance can be deceptive sometimes. Sure, one can give good reasons for things like short selling etc.; however, it is difficult to think these hedge fund titans are in the game for the purpose of righting wrongs. That is to say, theory is one thing and motivation is another. From that angle, I'd at least give Soros the credit for his candor. To backtrack a bit, this is not an endorsement. An honest a**hole is still an a**hole <sg>, if that is the case.

Of course, it is probably my willy nilly personality <vbg> that I come to see people with multiple personalities <vvbg>. While some great beings have been able to show integrity at every turn, human beings are flawed, subjectively or by consensus. Of course, there were down right evil too, but I certainly have not had enough understanding of Soros to put him in that category.

best, Bosco
