I used LJPC because I felt the excerpt I quoted from the research report provided a model that was in general use by the industry, and therefore would be of illustrative value.

I agree with you about LJPC being pretty much a one-trick-pony, and therefore very speculative.

I've also spoken with the company, on occasion, and I've found them to be a young, enthusiastic group. I can see how their enthusiasm could lead one to feel they could be misleading, but I don't agree with that opinion.

I don't have much confidence in most brokerage recommendations as, like you, I think they have a bias according to their company's position. They do have a market impact, however, so they shouldn't be dismissed.

You brought out some good points, maybe if we get a few more thoughts we'll be able to get CB thoroughly confused.<G>
