<<<The stock is near it's high and my guess is that it will be down about 30% from this
level. Before that happens it could be up 30%. But as a momentum stock play, it's
day in the sun for the short-term is nearly over. By next year at this time it will
possibly be up to even higher levels - a lot can happen one way or the other to
determine the price by year's end. If we get another spectacular Christmas season
with 250% growth, Amazon will likely be up. But for the next several months, we
are near a high, IMO.>>>

my friend stop snorting helium, you think perhaps that bks bgp, walmart, buy.com, shopping.com, mysimon.com and pricescan.com etc etc. (oops almost forgot the aol, msn, yahoo and xcit bots) will all sit on their asses? now that they've seen the potential revenues, the pricing pressures and marketing costs amzn alluded to should only accelerate as it tries to keep growth rate up -- btw, i love buy.com's business model -- sell everything at a loss or at cost and eventually earn money thru ad revenues -- i'm in -- they're the absolute cheapest on almost everything -- very good customer service as well.
