Hey charred, I'm all for a nice porous unit.:-) I agree with your Uchumuchay assessment. The amount of work done by Barrick, in preparation for this drilling, gives a certain amount of comfort as well. They narrowed the target considerably, and I agree that their geologists are some of the best in the business. They have to be, or they wouldn't last long.

I don't like to discount Pico Machay, either. Even if their geologists are not as good, and even if they're cheap, if they aren't successful, perhaps Barrick will look that one over too. If there is any truth to the statement, that Pico Machay is a mirror-image of Yanacocha, then I'm sure there will be majors waiting in the wings, should Newcrest drop the ball.

I thought the Barrick JV was what most investors
were holding QTR for.Apparently I was wrong...again.
Does anyone know when we might start getting some
results from Peru.
