I've ordered dozens of books from them. They use UPS and the US Post Office

>Has anyone ever ordered book from AMZN

I ordered a DVD from Amazon, as an experiment last friday. I paid the 6.95 for second day air, and it arrived on time about 10 minutes ago.

They shipped the product on time, and their price was within 50 cents of the next lowest price. (shopping.com)

Can't complain about the service- but I would argue there was no service to begin with. I placed an order for a commodity, they stuck it in a box and shipped it to me when they said they would. Not a lot of "touch, feel" about it. I only picked Amazon because I wanted to see if their fulfilment was slow. I could have easily bought the DVD at DVDexpress or DVDempire or shopping.com. The only service I give a rats ass about is getting the product on time. That's not a tall order to fill. Not a lot of barriers to entry.

Certainly not worth 25 billion dollars in market cap.
