Well, I didn't say that I could value biotechs, but I do think I can understand them. I started following them last summer, just out of curiosity at first since I just came down with rheumatoid arthritis in August, so I started following the process of FDA approval of new drugs anyway. I am aware that the prices of the stocks are quite volatile, and that it is better to buy before the good news.

I have spent many hours researching the science of autoimmune diseases online. There is a lot of fascinating work being done with the immune system, a lot of new work on topics like interleukins, cytokines, nitric oxide, tumor necrosis factor-alpha, and a lot of other things they did not teach about when I was in college microbiology. My favorite kind of science, it doesn't need math to understand!
