The answer to your question depends on the firm you trade with. Some consider $3.00 to be the absolute minimum that one can trade on margin. Many are at $5.00 though. Nearly all are changing margin requirements right now due to the internet frenzy.

While I hope that this rally is different than those of the past, I think many should take a very close look at whether this is a marginable stock for them, at least until ANCR can prove they have the contracts and earnings.

Alan, with margin eligibility comes the eligibility to short the stock also, that is for the masses, not just a few reg d people, so in many respects leverage becomes a double edged sword. Look what happened on the way down with all the forced selling due to margin calls, a lot of hot short term money mostly. hopefully ancor will build on long term fundamentals rather than with rumors and speculation , rewarding long term patient investors over time.
