I'm clear that you think I'm a bigot...now what's your definition of a "sexist"?

So you were that sensible adult... that you kept mentioning!
I stand by my opinions, and though they may be harshly presented, they are very clear-

"There's no room for male privilege, primacy, phallocentricity or rapists in my world."

I can understand how you may have felt solely and personally attacked
by what I said...I think I was offended that you would insert yourself into a dialogue only to attempt to argue your position regarding Clinton...I was enjoying a discussion where the goal was communication, rather than arguementation. The tone of my response was reflective of that disappointment with you. That part was personal, yes. However, my opinions about islam can be applied much more generally.

Can you really believe that your post "...held no specific content or even inference to what I believe about my religion or beliefs..."? Perhaps not overtly. I will be happy to point out what I believe to be your prejudice...and it's foundation is anchored in your islamic religion. We can get specific, if you want to go there.

"You again jump all over me with a half a dozen hateful and off target remarks about what you are presuming my perspective is made up of. Based on what?
Again, I'm referencing arabic culture and the state religion...and you are correct...my knowledge is limited to my inter-personal life experiences, as well as casual observation of what I consider to be "islamic/arabic culture/religion".

"What your biased and hate filled doctrine has told you to label the 1 billion people sharing this planet with you."
Yes again, we are ignorant of each other...personally.
You label me, I label you...it's human nature.
I don't think I subscribe to any "doctrine"...that I know of.

"If these accusations were central to my beliefs I would definately be defending them, with my last breath." I think you betray yourself with this statement. You are defending them...with your last paragraph! I think you are in denial about some aspects of what you "believe". Maybe just mildly conflicted...

"Since they are not, the obvious conclusion is that you are driven by ignorance and fear. This is practically the definition of a bigot." When I feel descriminated against, I respond by being descriminating...it's an avoidance strategy. As we all know, it breeds more of itself unless empathy is realized...

"When someone is so unrealistic about something they fear that they let it color every thing they say and do then that fear becomes the boogie man." OK, you're saying that I'm paranoid. You're not the first to perceive me as such...I won't argue. There are, what I consider to be good reasons for my "fear-based" position. You may not be able to understand or be sensitive to those reasons...that is my perception of you...and yes, that's based on your islamic association.

"Of course, all it typically takes to dispell the fear of the boogie man is flipping on the light."
Your point is well taken about facing one's fears...I personally only do that while cocked & locked...in other words, when I'm prepared to find that boogyman standing right there looking back at me. It's "realistic" to say that it can happen...it happens somewhere, everyday.

"You are choosing the dark corners of your fear to form your pespective." I am basing my perspective on my experience and my knowledge...I am open to new information, but we have opposing positions on certain fundamental principles. That will likely not change.

"Free will allows you to continue if you so choose. Too bad, life is kind of cool in the light."
For predators, absolutely...but not for prey.
