If QNET has a record date of 1/6, you would have needed to buy on 12/31 for a settlement date of 1/6. Sorry folks.... I fell for that also. Of course I did make over a 60% gain in one day. Best of luck.

A stock dividend is for all practical purposes the same as a split. The stock price should fall 75% to reflect the distribution.
