READ THIS: The dividend is for shareholders of record on January 6, 1998. I bought a few thousand shares yesterday. I received my e-mail confirmation today (from Scwhab) and actually read it. My settlement date is not until January 7th!!! I forgot about that....and just wanted to remind everyone that the settlement date is not until 3 days after your purchased date. (And why would the MM's settle early, when they get your dividend shares.) I just want everyone to be informed. Call your brokers and see when your settlement dates will be. I sold late today for a nice gain. Best of luck to all!!! CJacks
