you find out very abruptly when you try to post someone!

BOOM! big red print. your posting privileges have been suspended until --/--. (or something to that effect) They even gave me a 3:42p.m. time to boot.

Indeed they do have a life sentence. I know because my account was permanently banned for life. I was without it for a couple of months. I only got it back because the person I wronged was kind enough to write to SI Bob asking that I be reinstated.

SI does not tell you that you have been suspended or banned until you write to them asking why your account will not work. It is done via email because you cannot even send a PM.

when you go to post, a message comes in read telling you your posting privilieges have been suspended from such date to such date, mine was from 12/28 thru 12/31 5:00 am. That is how I knew about my suspension. I don't know about the others. peace and good luck.

When you try to post, you are shown a message saying that your posting privileges have been suspended until a certain date.
That's when I e-mail SI and ask them why. Even though, I guess I really know what their answer will be.
