Temp,

Your overlooking the obvious:

1. Franklin lands a sweet deal because they have a great product, price, etc.

2. Franklin blows their own horn and mentions the client.

3. Clarent, Vocaltec, and every other VOIP manufacturer begins beating a path to their door claiming to have a better solution.

4. Wether they do or not, the "customer" may now feel the need to re-evalute their decision and take another look at what the competition has to offer, especially in light of the compatability issues going away and VOIP standards being created. The customer may even be introduced to products that were not evaluated during the initial decision.

5. No doubt FTEL will win again, but at what cost??

why start over??

Pat
