That is the smartest statement I have ever read on these threads. Those of you who are new to the investment game need to consider and ponder this statement. Oh, I know, trading in and out is lots more fun and more exciting. I do every day, but if you want to make "real" money, buy quality growing stocks and hold until the "fundamentals change". It took me many years to learn this lesson but since I have, I still hold EMC bought at 43 cents a share (adjusted), WCOM at $2.40 and Dell at about $3. That's how you make real money. My buy and hold account far out paces my trading accounts. Thank you Dick, thank you Bernie and thank you Michael.
