A few dumb questions:

1. What is position trading, as opposed to day trading, etc? And good stuff to read on it?

2. What kind of firm is Yamner, capitalization, insurance on accounts, etc.

I might go to another broker, but have heard stories about some of the small discount or day trading outfits that make my hair curl. On the other hand, I have been screwed on trades plenty of times by Schwab, who usually take the position that if I have enough evidence to have a lawyer take my complaint to the SEC, they will consider making an adjustment in the trade.

I am especially interested in how assignments of covered calls are handled, which is one of Schwabs good points, along with the size of the company and the account insurance.

TIA,
Chaz

Hi Lastshadow...
first, do me afavor, PIM your real name, not exactly sure who you are????<GGG> seriously..
anyway, someone asked about our firm...first off, we are not a 'daytrading; firm'. we have a lot of daytraders as a result of the quality of our trading desk.
We've been around 22 years without one, not one filing or complaint by any client or firm. We have account insurance upto 150 million and we clear Pershing, division of DLJ, one of the biggest.
check out our website at yamner.com
