El,
I read Jobs as a very person who is not use to dealing with people in uncontrolled environments. Every one around him listens and does what he wants inside Apple and his social circles. Then he gets out to see the press and stock holders. They want to control what is talked about, and ask the questions. He isn't use to that. It is foreign to him, and he has a hard time dealing with it.

Hi El,
If Jobs was CEO of CPQ right now the stock would be at 80. He has taken a company with a 5% market share and made them more profitable than CPQ. Not too bad for a "hothead."

No golf lately?
