<BTW priest a K6-2-333 beats PII-300 in Winstone98.>

What speed is the bus on a K6-2 333 laptop? 66 MHz or 95 MHz?

A K6-2 333 may beat the Pentium II 300 in Winstone 98, but that's only if the K6-2 is on a 95 MHz bus.

Maxwell,
RE:"Watch the Priest preach. Last year he was touting Intel for having the
highest MHz while people keep telling him performance. Now Intel is
behind in the notebook he preaches people performance over MHz."

It's easy to detect when an Intelabee is waffling....

-----

BTW....wait 'till the K7....the FPU will blow the Katmai out of the water. Intelabees have already been hedging their bets with the "Katmai Standard"...
So the Pentium III will need KNI to come close to the K7.
This will be the last nail in Intels hype coffin.
There best arguement now is that the Pentium II core has the better FPU and doesn't need 3DNOW! to get 60 fps out of Quake.
After the K7 that won't fly....so they will be hyping the set of 70 instructions....
