Jack although it is more difficult for those of us that have been in for a long time, I think we must remember that even as late as
October 15'th, the stock was at $6 before it started it's climb back up. When it touched $12 that would have represented a 100% gain for some people in less than 3 months. Because of tax consequences some may have waited to sell for profits until the New Year. I think it was just a hick up.
