<<You see, Larry and nowaynow feel that one who states his beliefs based upon some information which he/they either don't have or are too lazy to ferret out is either (1) hyping the stock, or (2) acting on insider information>>

OK, mooter. Let's assume you are correct and the information that "Line 1 wasn't working" was fairly common knowledge during the fall of '97 and I just wasn't dilligent enough to find out. Fine.

But if this is the case, why were you saying the exact opposite on this thread during the time period your "research" found that "Line 1 wasn't working?" The only conclusion that makes sense to me is you were deliberately hyping the stock so that you could sell "70% of your position" at the highest possible price to those of us who did not have the "dilligence" to uncover these facts. What other explanation is there for this hypocritical activity of yours?

<<Seriously, my own due diligence confirms what you have said in your post regarding status of the NI operations.>>

Since you said the exact same thing a year ago (while you were selling), why should we believe you now? How do we know you are not, once again, trying to talk the stock higher while you are selling?

Yes, I base all of my discussions and my decisions on public information and on TA. You won't see me hyping the stock based on what my "sources" tell me.

By the way, neither you nor Fred has answered this question yet. Whose sources were right? Your sources who told you that "Line 1 wasn't working" during the fall of '97, or Fred's sources who still say Line 1 was working all along?

The basic argument made sense to me then, and still does now.

BTW, I noticed that SNDK has nearly doubled since Shugart was faced with that apparent investment decision and chose VLNC. Looks increasingly like he and the others were buying within a limited time window, perhaps to clear any future perception of insider trading. Company lawyers may have been looking at several months of buffer, JMHO.
