Oh my gosh, this is the second day in a row I didnt go to the DELL thread first when I got on S.I. I'm very ashamed. Its still over half of my portfolio so what is my problem????? Anyway someone sent me an article about a small computer company from Austin which is selling on line. I think its just a repeat of others we have seen on this thread. No threat, right? Did you all see that Compaq received a hold when Dell recieved a buy from an analyst today? They said Dell was the major player in its field. Nice move in Msft today, maybe Dell tomorrow or next day? Or maybe in a few weeks, because msft is only two weeks from earnings report, and Dell is around six. Happy beginning of the year to everyone. Freeus

The better way to respond to the TA-ers is to say... oh yes, i see a fine chart, but its not confirmed by the volume... gotta get that confirmation baby, izznt that what TA say?? But i do wish that DELL would release a press release saying it upgraded its web site. Mathsoft does this and rockets. biz.yahoo.com read the release, people. their web sales doubled, not their sales. latest 10Q doesn't mention fraction of websales.. edgar.sec.gov If dell pulls off a double on a press release i'll, i'll, i'll... i dunno what i'll do.
